Undergraduate Final Project

Title : Nutrient Composition in Young and Mature Coconut Water.
Supervisor : Assoc.Prof.Dr.Abdull Rahim Hj Yusoff.
Objective : The objectives of this research are to investigate the presence of inorganic cations in the coconut water (Na, K, Mg and Ca) and inorganic anionic constituents in the coconut water ( Cl- and PO4-) as well as to compare the nutrient composition in young and mature coconut water. Besides, to evaluate the effectiveness of coconut water as an isotonic drink. The instruments that been utilized were flame atomic absorption spectroscopy, flame emission spectroscopy and ion chromatography.

Company : JCY HDD Technology Sdn. Bhd
Position : Chemist
Responsibility : Handling FT-IR and Direct Scanning FT-IR to analyze hard disk sample prior shipping to customer. To maintain cleanliness of the sample which is free from hydrocarbon, silicon oil as well amide. Besides certain instruments also need to be handle such as SEM, Ion chromatography, GC-MS and FESEM.

Position : Chemist Trainee
Responsibility : The Company produces various semiconductor product which applied in electronic devices. Working at IC End of Line (plating and Chemical deflash).The Plating area is the area where all the products need to be plate with Sn or also known as Tin. The process involve in making the semiconductors are starting at Front of Line which also known as Clean Room, were all the wafering were done there . After that, the output from the Clean Room were taken to the End Of Line to continue the process such as mold, chemical deflash, plating ,saw, orienteering ,laser mark and Quality inspection.
